Node Icon as a Preamp

Hi, has anyone tried connecting their Icon directly to a Power-amp as a Pre, i have just connected mine to a Linn Klout Power-amp, it actually sounds very good a pleasant surprise. My CD player is connected to the Icon through a Optical cable, all good. Cheers Rod

  Hi Rodney, recently I bought an Icon together with the NAD M23, I connected them via XLR. In my opinion this combination sounds great, very happy with it.

  Hi Curb, yes it's surprised me just how good it sounds, i never thought a Digital Pre-amp would be a good match for a Class AB Power Amp
