Trouble adding custom internet radio station
AnsweredI'm new to BluOS and am setting up a Node Icon with custom internet radio stations. I've had good luck with four local stations but a fifth one is not working. I can stream from the website on my computer but no luck on the Node. I wrote to the station and they could only suggest trying some URLs I had already tried (below).
Here are some of the URLs I found on kdvs.org and the old site -- https://wp.kdvs.org/ (none work):
https://kdvs.org/api/spinitron/nowplaying
https://archives.kdvs.org/stream.m3u
https://tunein.com/radio/KDVS-903-s32390/
http://54.245.186.217:8000/stream
https://spinitron.com/KDVS/
https://music.apple.com/us/station/kdvs/ra.1460926369 (just links to TuneIn)
I dug through the HTML code and web resources to uncover some of the URLs. Note that kdvs.org is migrating to the new website but other information is available on their old site: https://wp.kdvs.org/.
Also, a feature request (maybe should be a separate post?): Maybe I'm missing something, but it would be useful if one could edit a custom radio station without having to delete the station and start from scratch. Some stations offer multiple (slightly different) URLs for streaming and editing an entry would be a lot faster than typing from scratch. It would also be good to be able to view what URL is associated with a custom station.

I am not sure whether that helps, but maybe you are using the station's website URL? You whould need to use a radio website URL. Most audio streams end in .mp3, .aac, .pls or .m3u. Often radio stations are changing their audio stream names.
Good luck!
