BluOS Controller locks what is playing and won't stay current!

Hello.

The currently playing at the bottom of the MacOS BluOS Controller is not refreshing consistently. It locks onto the first track played. I have to quit and restart the Controller for the currently playing track to show. Is this a known bug?

  Another Bluesound user here.

  MacOS 15.2, MacOS App 4.4.1, BluOS 4.8.7.

  I'm not seeing the behaviour you describe. Just tested with both local and Qobuz files and playlists and it's working as expected, updating as the tracks change.

  I suggest you initiate a Support request.

  I am also seeing this. I does not happen immediately, but it will happen eventually. Restart will "fix" it, though restarting the app takes a long time.

  I've just assumed that it's because the MacOS desktop controller is more or less abandoned, and there is no version for apple silicon. Maybe the problem is with the app, maybe the emulation that needs to be done. At least the horrible slowness is due to the emulation unless the controller has become worse and worse over time. Also the pasting not working is rather annoying, but that's all we get on Mac, unless our Macs are five years old or older.

  The MacOS controller is easily the worst app on my mac. There will be a new version "soon" however.
