The VPN (Microsoft Defender) on my Samsung phone prevented to find my players
AnsweredThe BluOS app 4.8.0 on my Samsung Galaxy S21 could not find my players (NAD758 & Pulse Flex 2i) anymore. It just told my "No player found" after a while. I tried every thing I found on the internet including restarting the phone, removing and reinstalling the app, resetting all appliances for 5 minutes, resetting my router to factory settings and changing the SSID, etc etc.
The app was working well on my PC with Windows 11.
I finally found the problem:
It was the VPN (Microsoft Defender) on my phone that was giving trouble.
I removed the VPN on the phone then everything worked again.

Such behaviour is to be expected with a VPN. Depending on the specific VPN (I am unfamiliar with MS VPN), typically two options may exist to use VPN and BluOS simultaneously:
1 allow LAN access
2 configure split tunneling to exclude the BluOS app
Option 1 is fine to use at home, but you would prefer to block LAN access when on a public WiFi and could easily forget to change this setting accordingly. That is why I prefer option 2.
