Sub Issues with Pulse Soundbar Plus and 3rd Party Sub

Hi Daniel
With SUB-WOOFER enabled, you are enabling the cross-over preventing the SOUNDBAR+ from playing the lower frequencies to ONLY the sub-woofer and not the SOUNDBAR+.
Disabling the SUB-WOOFER setting does not turn off the SUB-WOOFER output, it merely does not enable the crossover. The SUB-WOOFER output is always 'hot' and active.
Sounds like you want SUB-WOOFER off and when you want that extra kick, physically turn on your 3rd party sub.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your reply and apologies for the delay in response. I tested this last night and I am still seeing the same behaviour, do you think there might be an issue with my soundbar?
The test I performed consisted of playing a video of a range of bass tones and also a dolby atmos test video and performing various tests.
With the sub setting off, my subwoofer was not outputting any tones.
With the sub setting on, the subwoofer was outputting a tone, I turned the volume of the sub all the way down and the soundbar was definitely lacking the bass, so I tried the third test.
Sitting directly infront of the soundbar with the sub infront of me turned on, I toggled the sub setting on and the sub started producing a tone. Turning it off after 3 or 4 seconds the sub turned off and the sub went silent. I then repeated this with the sub volume turned all the way down. When the sub setting was off the sub in the soundbar was firing, then turning it on caused the sub in the soundbar to stop.
It appears the soundbar sub is functioning as you described but the SUB-OUT port is not hot whenever the sub setting is not enabled, so I cannot use both subs at the same time currently.
I hope this makes sense, please let me know if there is anything you would like me to try.
Cheers!
