Display off & clock

Hi, I’m guessing it’s not possible to completely turn off the display? Personally I’d prefer to have the option of not having any display whilst streaming music. Also would definitely like the option of not having to be forced to have the clock on display in stand by mode. Also if Bluesound force users to have the clock on in stand by, why does the clock have to ticking minute hand like a quartz clock, why can’t we have the option of a sweeping clock hands as well.

  Once the player goes to network standby you can have it set to turn off the screen when it does that, so then the clock only shows for some minutes until it goes to standby and then the screen turns off if you set it to do so in the player settings.
