Low output volume on Node 132 and Node Nano
Reading the posts on this topic from 6 months ago, one can conclude that the issue of (very) low output volume hasn’t been adressed yet. Using a brand new Node Nano and a 1 year old Node 132, both on the latest SW release, I still have the same issue as the other folks posting: Having to crank my amp up to way more than double the normal volume in order to hear anything out of these babies. (Using Fixed volume setting). Interesting find: This might need more testing but to me the issue is more prominent when starting/playing Tidal directly from the Bluesound app than when starting the same service from its original Tidal app, using the Node’s Tidal Connect. The Tidal Cconnect case requires a lot lower volume setting on the amp. Analog In is also suffering, almost even worse, from very low volume output. Playing my pre-amped turntable through Analog In is so low that it’s practically useless. It had to go back to a Line in directly on the amp. I’ve yet to test if the issue persists when using an external DAC. More to come. Bluesound team…PLEASE address this.
