After 600 rips, Vault 2i is rejecting all CDs. SIgh.
AnsweredI see others have had this issue, but I don't see much in the way of a resolution -- other than one user who took their unit apart and installed their own new CD drive.
After loading 14000 songs (according to the last indexing), the Vault is now rejecting everything. Even discs it read find before. Reboot made no difference. Upon insertion you can hear the unit going through mechanical gyrations and then it spits the disc back out after about 45 seconds.
Does Bluesound have any sort of fix for this? I used to have an old Ford pickup truck with a front loader CD player that I used pretty heavily for about 20 years. When the truck finally died, the CD unit was still working fine.....why has this one only lasted since ~3 months.

I have basically the same issue. The unit is 2 weeks old.

Sorry to hear that. File a support request. My unit was replaced after they checked the original out via remote access. If you end up going with the replacement route, you have to return your old unit before they ship the new one, so make sure you make a good backup if you've already invested a lot of time with the original unit.

Thanks for the response and info Kurt. As soon as I sensed there was an issue I immediately backed up the Vault 2i folder over my network directly. I hope your replacement unit has been working as expected.
