SD card anomaly
Hi everyone. Just thought I'd mention to the community my findings.
I've got my Libary of music on a 512gb microsd card playing trough my node and needed a bigger capacity card so bought a faster 1Tb card.
on transfering my files I noticed it was taking a very long time to transfer I was only transfering at 1-2mbs per second but the original card was capable of 80mb/s, anyway I checked for faults on the card and windows found some, so rectified them and also did a defrag this improved the transfer rate a bit, however after finally transfering I inserted the card through a sd card reader in the usb socket re indexed the libary (which took seconds instead of minutes) and sat down to listen.
I was blown away, the music came alive!! I've come to the conclusion that because the read rate was so slow the software had trouble processing the data and this caused quality loss.
I hope this may help anyone else with the same condition.
