Node 2i keeps disappearing
AnsweredI’ve got a Node 2i, Node N130 and a Powernode. The Node 2i is constantly disappearing. Sometimes it’ll last a day staying connected, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes it’ll stay connected for a week. I’ve posted about this a few months ago and got some nonsense response from Bluesound but nothing works. I’ve tried leaving it connected through Ethernet, I’ve tried getting a network extender to boost the signal and nothing works. The crazy part is that if I go into the settings for one of my other players and go to the diagnostics I can see the Node 2i there and it’s ip address but it doesn’t show up in my list of players to use.

Sounds very frustrating. Have you tried DHCP reservation setting in the router? I have 8 BluOS devices and all have assigned reserved IP addresses on my router. I know this is of no consolation to you but I don't lose any of them. I typically connect via MacOS and iOS controllers.

I’ll dig into this and see if it fixes anything. Thanks for the suggestion. I’m using iOS controllers as well. I think there’s also something funky going on with airplay lately with new iOS updates.
