    Hi Ron

I have reviewed your case history based on the request you cited.

It looks like the Support Crew advised you of a possible hardware fault on your model and suggested you contact your regional distributor in the UK.

As mentioned, that regional distributor will take it from here.

    Thanks for understanding.

Power off your Bluesound devices and reboot your Router, wait five minutes and only then turn on one Bluesound device. Hopefully it will connect and you can then power on your other speakers.

    Edit
The VAULT does not have Wi-Fi so ignore the App.

    Hi Seppi,

    thanks for the response

I switched off all devices on my network, rebooted the router, waited 5 min and then turned on the ethernet connected vault.

The vault went through the reboot sequence and a solid blue light was on. I then waited another min or so and turned on one wireless speaker, again waiting for the blue light before waiting another minute and firing up my Android device and the blusound controller. By that time the vault had entered the startup sequence again. The speaker also continues to reboot.

Through the app I have no visibility of the vault and my library and also there is no player found.

I do not have any menu options apart from Open wifi and Retry.

    Thanks again for your thoughts,

    Ron

Hi Ron, if not already done so best to log a support ticket. As you can’t see the Bluesound devices use email support@bluesound.com

    Hi Seppi,

'fraid that's where I started a couple of weeks ago, ticket 441058. The vault has been back to Anatech for repair, but as you see I'm still struggling

    regards,

    Ron

As an end user I don’t have access to your logs so it’s a bit tricky to understand what’s going on but gut feeling it’s Router related.

Do you know your way around your Router? If yes have a look to see if you have a DHCP scope large enough so there are lots of IPs available for your devices.

Check your router settings to ensure Multicast (mDNS) traffic is allowed. Also see if there is a setting that says IGMP Snooping or IGM Proxy... turn it on.

Do you have anything like a VPN configured on the Router or a PiHole on your network, or basically anything new on your network since the issue started?

If you have previously reserved IP addresses for your Bluesound devices can you remove them please.

    Hi Seppi,

I'm not very tech savvy ...

I have not made any changes to the router and VPN is not active.

I can see the 3 units that I have tried to activate are showing on my network map

    Port 3    Vault2i-5D90 IP address 192.161.1.74

2.4Ghz  Living Room (Speaker) IP address 192.168.1.133

    5Gz       Galaxy (Blusound Controller) 192.168.1.77

Would either removing these addresses or undergoing a router factory reset as opposed to a reboot help? I still have an option of linking these units to another router.

    Regards,

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

A Router factory reset and / or the option of another Router would be a very good thing to try. Resetting a Router would remove all your settings that allow it to connect to the Internet so make sure you are happy with getting it running against before a reset.

Trying the “spare” Router might be a good idea before any resetting. I have three Routers in hand at home - just in case 😂

Edit - IP addresses you posted look absolutely fine.
