Bluesound Powernode 2 does not work on Apple Homekit
AnsweredRelevant software and hardware I use
As hardware I use a ....
Apple TV 4K (model 2024)
Bluesound PowerNode 2i
Network wired
What I have already found or tried
I followed Bluesound's procedure, but unfortunately with no results.
https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013079414-How-to-stream-Airplay-audio-to-Bluesound-Players-Airplay-2-and-Siri
Attempt 1.
Set Bluesound to a factory default, to add Node in pairing mode to HomeKit via my iPhone directly to Home app, before I paired or set up the Node with the BluOS app.via
Attempt 2
Reset PowerNode to factory settings to then only pair via Wifi directly into Homekit app.
Afterwards completing the Setup in the Bluesound app. Unfortunately with no result.
In short, the PowerNode is found and displayed in HomeKit.
When I launch BlueOS, it does not display in Homekit. It only displays without playback capability.
So, BlueOS -> start music, control in Homekit. Doesn't work?
If I start the Music app on my iPhone, select a radio station there and listen via PowerNode, it says “No playback” in Homekit.
