Node shuffle mode
AnsweredIs there a maximum number of songs on an Amazon Unlimited Playlist that will shuffle?
I have my library broken into playlists that are over 1k songs. Once the Node plays a group of songs, it reverts back to standard play mode. It still shows "shuffle" but it just plays the entire album /playlist. Ipad used for controller

Hi Bryant
When dealing with Jumbo Playlists, BluOS only loads the first 50 songs then continues to load in the background in order to have the music playing ASAP. Playlists as long as 1000 songs can sometimes take more than 20 seconds to load depending on the service's network servers response time...

I allow for this lag to insure the entire list loads. It still exits the shuffle mode midway thru the list. I would think that this would be a top spec in any description of these devices.

Your waiting does not affect this. It will only load the first 50 songs until more are needed...

Sooo, can anyone answer my original question?

Hi Bryant
I believe I did... it will only shuffle the songs that are loaded. Songs are loaded in a block of 50... the next 50 (ie songs 51-100) are not loaded until they are needed. You can try loading the Jumbo Playlist, then in the Play Queue of the now playing screen scroll through the whole playlist to load them then try shuffling.

Do I understand you correctly, as long as the entire Playlist is shown in the Play Queue, all should shuffle regardless of size of list?
