Improve Pandora integration
AnsweredHello, please improve the integration to Pandora. If you've ever used Sonos, they have Bluesound beat big time with respect to working with Pandora. I have a large Bluesound system in my house and when I use Pandora it is never reliable - often generating an error message saying that it has disconnected from the source. This is even more evident when playing different Pandora stations in different rooms. It is very easy to reproduce - just get a standard Pandora account through iTunes (which I've had for many years) and try the above.
I have a work around for this which works perfectly, flawlessly across multiple rooms, grouped or not ... I dug out my old Sonos Connect 15 player and connected it to the Bluesound Hub. Bam, fixed. No problem with Pandora sourced through that - no dropped connections from the source, no delays, sounds great.
But, I'm really trying to fully switch to Bluesound and dump Sonos. Please look into the above so that I can finally do that. :)
Thanks for listening.

Hi David
Our Product Development Team did identify an issue with Pandora stream being interrupted and issues a fix to this in our most recent update BluOS 4.8.7 which was released to the public on November 19th. Please run an update and try again. If problems return or persists, please send our Support Crew some log files by selecting Settings, Send Support Request in the BluOS App and further troubleshoot.
Thanks for #LivingHiFi.

I also have an issue with Pandora on a Node - Pandora starts to "clip" and gets progressively worse. No other stream source does this. Firmware and apps are current, my LAN is operating fine, I am connected wirelessly with a very strong signal, but have also tried with cable - same issue. I have the Node connected via coax to a Sony 5000 AVR; the DAC is fine. So it appears to be a corrupt memory or some iterative jitter or something. The clipping gets pretty frequent before I switch sources.
