Low dialog - Powernode (N330)
AnsweredI purchased the following setup last week.
- Bluesound Powernode (N330)
- 2x Dali opticon 2 mk 2 speakers
- 2x Bluesound Pulse M speakers (for the rear for tv/movies)
(I have a 2016 samsung KS8000 TV with an ARC input)
So, first when I set up the powernode with the dali speakers, music sounds great! For music, I am very satisfied with these speakers!
Then with enthusiasm I installed the Bluesound Pulse M speakers, the powernode with HDMI to the ARC of the TV, I created a fixed Home Cinema group, setting the Pulse M for the rear's.
Then I started watching a movie, and immediately I noticed that the dialogue was very low and hard to hear. Whereas if a car scrapes by and some other sound takes place, it roars out of the speakers. So I am constantly turning the volume up and down.
I have already tried changing the settings in the TV, but to no effect. (Can only check PCM / Bitstream / Dolby Atmos, but with all a soft dialogue)
I do plan to buy a new TV (the LG G4, with eARC connection) but have read that this should not be the problem.
I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you in advance!

Hoi Arnoud,
How was this issue solved?
I am considering to buy rear speakers (such that i can create a home theatre group) for my N330 powenode with stereo speaker + SW, but i get the impression that the missing Dolby center channel is an issue for the 4.1 setup?Groet Robin.

Hello,
I watched Inception in UHD (French sound) this weekend with the N132, the voices were hugely lower in volume than the soundtrack, I had to constantly adjust volume.
A "night mode" or "enhanced voice" is probably useful with an eArc input as the streamer is meant to be used to watch movie too.
The volume difference between input (HDMI, streaming) is quite annoying too.
Regards.
