Node and FLAC 24/96

Official comment
Out the box Bluesound hardware supports upto 24/192 on Tidal. If using the BluOS App you may have to logout and back in again and choose the maximum bitrate if not getting the higher resolutions.

Thank you very much, Seppi.
I did this, sadly no effect.
It works on the phone, but no sound when connecting Tidal to Node (the app seems to play, but no sound).0 -
Random Sat night thoughts…
Are you using the Tidal App or the BluOS App to playback, try the other.
What do you have the NODE connected to?
If a DAC try using optical, coaxial and analogue (bypassing any DAC you may have) can you test the headphone socket? Do you have any other services that work fine or even local music that play back correctly.

Thank you for your input! Highly appreciated - and yes: true Sat night playing😉.
Let's see: LAN connection (Tidal FLAC 24/192 flawless over mobile).
Have used both apps. Lagging when using Tidal, but still no sound from BluOS, either.
All music in FLAC24/48 and below works fine. Sadly no possibilities of testing the headphone socket.0 -
Is that the Tidal App using the connect function to the NODE that works ok?

Both apps are working. Only issue is when playing 24/192 and 24/96. Could be Dire Straits - Money for nothing. There is both a 24/192 and 16/44 versions. Last one works.

If you could answer please
Is that the Tidal App using the connect function to the NODE that works ok? (At all resolutions)

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. If as I may assume: yes, it is the Tidal app I was using testing 24/48, which works.

Probably best to contact support otherwise we will be going round in circles. In the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.

Will do so. Thank you again for your support!
