Alarm issue

Hi I have set an alarm…which works… wakes me up then after one minute it’s cuts out and plays the annoying default alarm sound that’s built into the node 2i please help

  Hi James, what is the music source of the alarm that’s failing and is it a morning alarm?

  Yes but it shouldn’t matter when alarm is scheduled…it shouldn’t stop playing the radio station or music then start playig inbuilt alarm sound…I think I might have solved it….you have to setup alarm in one take if you make a mistake you need to delete it and recreate …think it’s a bug

  The alarm switches to the default alarm if the radio stream is unreliable, I asked if it’s a morning alarm as many people on different platforms stream at all roughly the same time and this can lead to drop outs. One of my favourite stations fails with a 7am alarm but works fine at 6.58am

  You could try another radio station, or save the station in the TuneIn section with a lower bitrate (you can choose streams on many stations but not all)

  If you can recreate it successfully then do log a support ticket immediately after the alarm switches to to the default sound, this will send the logs for further checking.
