Problem with playback from Vault 2i
AnsweredOver the past few days my Vault 2i (purchased July 2023) has developed a problem. I can see it on the BluOS app as normal, and Music Library shows all of the ripped CDs are there, but when I choose one and ask it play, it shows playback (with no audio) for 12-13 seconds, then flips into pause. Hitting the play button again results in the same outcome. As suggested in other threads, I have turned off bluetooth, backed up the music collection to a SSD and then unplugged this from the USB port, and power cycled the Vault. I have also power cycled my ISP and wi-fi routers. The unit is networked via ethernet, and all the other players (I have seven NAD CI 720 units as well as ) are working as normal, as are streaming services, so I'm convinced it is a problem with the Vault. I note this machine has previously needed a CD drive replacement under warranty in September 2023. The iOS App version is 4.6.2 and BluOs 4.6.3
Any suggestions? It is now out of warranty. The other threads I have seen indicate that reliability is a problem with these units.

Ian, I would log a support ticket after it shows playback and then pauses. This way you will you will hopefully find out what’s going on.
In the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.
