Weak (physical connection) Optical-In

Hey, I had bought the Bluesound Node as of a couple years ago, and have found the optical in connection to be very physically unstable. No matter what optical cable I try, there seems to be a major lack of connectivity. Moving the cable around while plugged into the optical-in will eventually help produce sound. Any further suggestions?
