    That’s the fall back alarm sound, you want to use USB server mode or keep the tracks on a NAS so they are always available.

    ok i have a playlist on a usb it is scheduled to play as an alarm.....for example to play at 8AM saturday.... it plays for 10 seconds or so then stops and plays some in built default sound that bluesound has...if i play normally its fine..this is a Node 2i

    the thing is this alarm is a nuisance feature.. should be an option to just disable it..

    Sometimes music from the local library or streaming services is unavailable, if no music plays the backup sound has to play otherwise the Bluesound player would be silent and not wake you up, the explicit purpose of the alarm function.

    Simple solution would be to address the issue of your music and stick it on an always available NAS / use the Bluesound Server USB mode.

    If you don’t want to use the alarm then don’t, have a look at using the API / Home Assistant / Automated home integrations to start playing without involving the alarm.
