Cannot access Vault 2i from iPhone anymore
AnsweredI haven't used my Vault 2i for some time because it is no longer reachable on my iPhone. I cannot seem to get it to connect to the wireless network. The instructions for reconnecting to the network are not making sense as I see VAULT PLAYER graphics on the site here, but on my Blu OS app there is only a + sign and when I try to add the player to my app, it cannot find it and it tells me to go to my settings and look for the Vault 2i network SSID and there is no such thing.
What are my options. Is there a way to control the Vault from bluetooth? How can I get the Vault to be controlled from my phone. Right now the only option is to use a PC on a wired connection to my Vault which is also hard wired to the network. That works, but is not ideal at all.
I end up using Amazon music with a speaker instead of the thousands of custom and varied CD's that I have on my Vault. Any help would be so appreciated.

The Vault needs a network connection to work. Plug the Vault into your router using an ethernet cable and it should appear on the network. It can then be set up in the BluOS Controller app. As long as the iPhone is on the same network it should appear in the app for set up. Once that's done it can be set up wirelessly if that's required.
Failing that use the support link on this page to start a ticket with Bluesound for assistance.

"it cannot find it" refers to the settings app not being able to see the Vault 2i hotspot. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
