"immediate standby"/turn off feature from the controller app
AnsweredMy understanding is that the "Auto Standby" feature is switching the amplifier to standby after a timeout without music playing, and with the "Network standby" the streaming module still receive the instructions from the controller and is able to "wake-up" the rest of the system when the end user whishes to play music again later.
What I find kind of annoying is to rely on the timer to switch to standby when the user has a "conscious" wish to stop playing and is willing to "turn off" the system "immediatly" to limit the power consumption to the strictly necessary (and can possibly be cascaded to other devices through the 12V trigger output).
Can't we add an option to "turn off"/trigger "immediate standby" of the player (in the player section for example).
This feature exists for example on LMS

Hi Brice
There is no API controls over low-level firmware - so the App cannot do this. If the Player is in Vacation Mode, it will definitely not receive commands.
All that being said, and we do appreciate power consumption concerns. This is why your Bluesound NODE uses less than 3.0W as required by EU law. In Vacation mode, it still consumes 0.5W. Repeated vacation mode will also prematurely age your power supply as the Bluesound Power Supply is designed to be always running as a modern smart home device.
