While there ever be SoundCloud support - Powernode edge

I recently bought a bluesound Powernode edge. But to my suprise for some reason bluesound decided to not support one of the biggest streaming services in the world. This is a dealbraker for me and will be a reason to return my product and buy something better. Will there be SoundCloud support in the near future?

  Please add Soundcloud and Bandcamp to the list of supported streaming services.

  I am sure you can understand that bluetooth is not an option for someone who invests €600 in a STREAMING amplifier. I still dont understand why bluesound can't support soundcloud streaming while a lot of competitors do offer SoundCloud.

  I don't get that as well. As far as I can see Soundcloud publishes a nice interface with documentation: https://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide

   

  It would be nice if Bluesound offered their own developer api so we could build support for these services ourselves. 

  My appreciation for Bluesound goes beyond the support of a streaming service, but I'd just appreciate a little bit more if they offered these integrations themselves or if there was a way to opensource it. 

   

  After all these years, still not a good explanation to these issues

   

  @Ocean Giebels if SoundCloud is a dealbreaker, there has not been any activity since 2018 that would suggest they support it any time soon
