There are artwork constraints, the iOS App is able to display artwork that the desktop cannot.

“With Optimize Artwork disabled, ensure the artwork is of a resolution lower than 1200x1200 pixels and less than 600 KB in size”

Though I do not use MacOS, this appears to be the same as the bug I reported for the Windows app on 21-01-2024. Never got fixed, just like most other bugs do not get fixed.

In my case, it was triggered if  any of the characters

    • ' apostrophe
    • ( left parenthesis
    • ) right parenthesis

are present in any of the metadata fields

    • Album
    • Album Artist
    • Artist, only if Album Artist is empty

There may be other characters triggering it, you have the parentheses in the album title.

Bluesound confirmed they could replicate the bug. Why they cannot fix is beyond me, BluOS is broken.

    Hi Cerben

Removing the parenrheses does the trick, but rather irritating having to do that... well If the support team dont consider it important to fix... !!!

I realise there are other albums on my NAS with these 'forbidden' characters , so I could fix these, but not likely, after all the music plays fine
