N100 WiFi issues 2024
AnsweredI have an N100 (I know! Early adopter!) which I used (mostly) happily for years. It was in storage for eight years, but now I have it out and am trying to use it again. The light on top glows green as if it is happy on WiFi, but it will not show up in the BluOS app. I can go through the “Connect to Player” procedure in the app, connect my phone to the Node, give it the WiFi password, and all seems to go well, but then it fails at the end with a “Not Complete… Please try again later” message. The light on the node glows solid green at the end of this process. I have tried cycling power on Node and router, but that did not help. Any ideas?

Temporarily, moving it if necessary connect directly to your Router using Ethernet and then reapply power. Hopefully it will connect but it will be using a very old firmware and probably needs to be updated by support before you can proceed.
Best to email support support@bluesound.com

Once connected through ethernet, you should be able to access the BluOS Control Panel through a webbrowser using the IP address of the Node as URL. Like Seppi said, it will try to update first and that is better done over ethernet, instead of an untested wifi connection.
