You can also download the album art using a browser on a pc or laptop, google is your friend.

Put the downloaded folder.jpeg or index.jpeg in the folder of the album and reindex the player.

    Thank you.

I have only had the Vault 2i and love it so new to this. I got the download part.

Question - when I read about reindexing the player it makes sound like it reindexs everything. Does that mean you have to start over??

It will "reindex" everything, but this means it only corrects an existing index and adds or removes new items or deleted tracks. It is a relatively fast procedure.

"Rebuild index" on the other hand clears existing caches and starts rebuilding the index from scratch.

This will take longer, depending on different factors.

Anyway, nothing is lost in either procedure. The HDD in the vault is reading and writing the changes, hence the noise. A SSD would be silent.

Seems to be a lot of varying advise on this. I am struggling with getting the right artwork to load unless I add the art to each song using mp3tag.

What should the art be named?

    folder.jpg

    index.jpg

    cover.jpg

Furhter - to get the art to load should i "reload all art" or "reindex"?

This article may offer some help:

index.jpg should be renamed to conform.

To to confirm cover.jpg “trumps” all other artwork and takes precedence.
