BluOS app cannot find NAD 3050 LE after Sequoia 15 upgrade
AnsweredI am using a MacBook Pro, using an i9 Intel core. I am running Sequoia 15. When executing the BluOS app from the MacBook Pro, BluOS does not find my NAD 3050. (I did not have this issue prior to upgrading to Sequoia 15). I have ensured that under Sequoia Privacy and Security setting, Local Network, BluOs is enabled with check mark.
I have also added BluOS as an exception to the Sequoia Firewall.
I have rebooted the amp several times (pulled plug) and turned on, and this does not solve the problem. I have rebooted my router and modem several times, with no resolution of problem.
Other relevant points: On my MacBook Pro I can only see sound sources to include my MacBook Pro Speakers, and the following sources: Dirac Virtual Audio Device, MJ Audio Recorder, Robert's Mac mini. Bedroom (a Sonos Player); Living Room (an Eco Thermostat with Speaker), and Samsung TV Q80 series.t i
I also installed the BluOS on my Mac mini, which runs an M1 processor. I get the same message from BluOS that it cannot find any players on my network.
The only way that I can play music is through Roon. In Roon, fortunately I am showing a connection of a Magnetar universal player on the network as an audio source which I can enable. That Magnetar is connected to my Roon Core, which operates on my Mac mini M1, via a USB connection. (In this regard, I am using the Magnetar's superior DAC, vice the NAD DAC. This is enabled by placing the Magnetar into an XMOS-PCM mode, but none of that is really germane to the issue.)
On Roon, I can only see those connected to the MacMini (it's speakers), and other devices which can be connected by AirPlay. But I don't see the NAD 3050 LE as an option to enable in Roon, either.
