Connection problems after bluos update 4.6.3

I've tried fixed IP
It is likely using fixed IPs on some of your problems is causing the issue as Players are being reconnected. DHCP Reservations have been a standard for over 25 years in networking to avoid the messiness of fixed IPs and the inadvertent conflicts they may create. Check your router UI on how to create DHCP Reservations.
If that is not the case, contact support@bluesound.com and they will be happy to provide other troubleshooting tips.

Should not be possible with fixed ip adresses imo. Did never happen before, but i will give it a try.

Hi Peter
It is more likely a connection issue with your router allocation table as Seppi suggested. It may be best at this point to speak with one of our Support Crew members by e-mailing us at support@bluesound.com. Please include in your e-mail the make and model of your router along with any network extending equipment you are using.
We also will likely recommend getting rid of static IPs which may be causing an IP conflict and use DHCP reservations.

Hi Tony,
I do use DHCP reservations. The past few years never had any issue. Its just started after the update yesterday. The powernode is running fine, but when i make a group with my two flex speakers the problems begin. The speakers are in the same wifi network and i dont use network extending equipment as i live in an appartment

Same here. since the update my powernode has been unusable due to connection issues both in operation and playback. Is there a way to downgrade the firmware?

Hi Andre, i my case i found the cause. My sub is connected wireless with the rt100. When i remove it the problem is gone. Im pretty sure its a bug, because it started after the latest update. It only occurres with streaming. On external input there is no problem.

Hi
Since the last firmware my node2 can't reindex my hard disk plugged on my local network in Samba mode.
Reindex begins normally but more or less longer it s stop before ending

I'm having issues with the newest update as well, I have a Node2i which has updated on september 28th, since then it rebooted at least 8 times during playback, some days I can listen for like 2 hours, some others it reboots after 30 minutes. Weirdly the log has a huge gap betweed september 28th and today, october 13th when it registered the latest reboot, with no trace of errors.
Also, does anyone with IOS have issue with the latest app? It's slow and fails to load the content of albums with "composer" tags filled in, if searched by Artist, if searched by Author/Composer it works fine

Same issue here, after reboot the Pulse M does not connect anymore. I've tried fixed IP, mesh network on/off, eth cable instead of wifi...nothing works and the only way to get thing working is to perform a factory reset and configure everything from start :-(.
Same issue with Bluesound mini 2iSo a reboot with my Pulse M or powercycle ends up in in a misconfigured Bluesound player.

Hi Tony, I have to explain a bit more what I've tried:
1) Combination of Ziggo router with TP Link m3/m4 mesh wifi network- DHCP connected via cable
- DHCP connected via Wifi
- DHCP connected via Wifi and Mesh setting turned off on access point
- Fixed IP connected via cable2) Asus router RT AC66U
- Bluesound Mini 2i connected via ETH => player works after power cycle, except audio settings and presets are lost.
- Bluesound Mini 2i connected via Wifi => player works after power cycle, except audio settings and presets are lost.
- Bluesound Pulse M connected with ETH cable => player is not visible anymore in bluesound app after a powercycle. In the Asus router I see the IP adress of the Pulse M and the player LED is blue, when disconnecting the ETH cable the LED turns purple.
So there seems to be something wrong in the Bluesound Pulse M with this version or the unit is broken..?
What can I do more?

Latest info is that this issue also applies to the Bluesound Node with 4.6.3 in my living room.
I shred the information with the support Crew.
Hoping for a workarround.

I’ve also gone from a stable flex 2i stereo pair, to constant drop outs after the 4.6.3 update. if I reboot the pair it works fine for a few hours. But it would be nice to be able to wake up to the internet radio again,
I’ve even upgraded my Wi-Fi router , that didn’t help,,Just cancelled (put on hold)my order with my dealer for the node icon. Been so,happy with blue sound, but I need confidence they can support their products,

Today the Bluesound helpdesk was able to solve the problem!
Procedure to fix the issue:
1) Turn all bluesound players off (power cord pulled out)
2) Turn one Bluesound player on and perform a factory reset + installation
3) Turn off the Bluesound player (power cord pulled out) (all players off)
4) Turn on the second Bluesound player and perform factory reset + installation
5) Trun off the Bluesound player
6) Repeat step 4-5 for all players and be sure that all other players are off
7) Turn on all players and verify that the issue is solved!
I'm very happy that this is solved !!!
