Pluse mini - no power, blows fuse
AnsweredMy pulse mini will no longer turn on, zero power no lights . After a bit of trial and error i worked out the fuse in the plug (uk 5amp) had blown, I replaced the fuse and the same thing happened, this time I heard a pop though, fuse gone again. I fear this maybe a terminal issue, this is a real shame. It's no longer in warranty, still dissapointing for an expensive product to have an issue like this. I have never had a power issue like this before with any other hifi equipment. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

If out of warranty then contact Sevenoaks Sound & Vision and they should be able to help.

Thanks, yeah they said to bring it in but sounds like there is not a lot they can do as out of warrenty. Would be interested to know if anyone else had had this problem.

I don't really know what Sevenoaks can do. It's poor for a premium products to fail like this....

They can carry out repairs, unfortunately all electrical devices can suffer from failure…my tumble dryer died a few days ago, total, no power and that was an expensive heat pump model.

Thanks i will try and find out how much it will cost.I have a reasonable amount of hi fi kit, none of it has ever failed. I have had a medium use of the item.....so I would say this is poor resilience, I m just saying would expect better.
