How many players needed for a stereo pair?
AnsweredI have a Node player attached to my old-school stereo system amplifier’s auxiliary input and it works like a charm there. Now I would like to place a set of wireless speakers in an adjoining room. To get the best sound, I want to have two speakers in the next room operating as a stereo pair — perhaps two Pulse Mini 2is. But it sounds to me like I need to have TWO players — that is, two Nodes — in order to control a pair of speakers in a group. Is that right? Or can I use the original node to play both through the old-school amplifier while simultaneously playing through a pair of Pulse Mini 2is as a stereo pair? Please advise.

Bluesound wireless speakers operate independently from the Node so for a stereo pair all that's required is 2 Pulse or Flex. They are controlled entirely by the BluOS controller app on a phone, tablet or computer and do not need a Node to function.
