Music on USB
AnsweredDid something happen to the ability to play from USB? It's my preferred use, and I have done this on all my units and it generally works flawlessly. But it's suddenly started giving me an error message, "Cannot Access File: No such file or directory". It first did it on a brand new C700 unit, but since also occurred on 3 other units in a totally different location and on a different network, each with a different USB stick.

Hi David
Please select Settings, Send Support Request so our Support Crew may review the log file and take a closer look.

Don't think so, at least it plays as usual here (Pulse M, OS: 4.4.19).
Best, KriHad

Hi David, I would take the memory stick(s) and format them again in a PC or Mac and try again, as KirHad says it’s not something that’s been taken away otherwise there would be a lot of posts on here about it.
Also do try adding different tracks to the ones you were testing earlier as they may have issues and make sure they are compatible with the playback specifications.

Why would multiple memory sticks at multiple locations go bad at the same time?
It appears to be caused by clicking to allow the songs to be shared with other Bluesound units, so it plays from the "Library" instead of from "USB". When I found how to change that and then reindexed the sticks it started working.

I've submitted the requested support request (which, FYI, is under "Help" instead of under "Settings"), even though as noted above I've fixed the issue myself.
