Apple Music Dolby Atmos via Airplay2 (iOS18 Update)
AnsweredSince iOS18 (Beta), AirPlay2 supports the transmission of Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio. However, according to Apple, the Airplay2 receiver (Powernode) must also receive an update for this. Will there be an update for the Powernode from Bluesound so that I can listen to Apple Music in Dolby Atmos via Airplay2?

Any update? Curios if Node N132 supports or will support it.

Sorry the NODE does not support surround formats.

N132 supports both Atmos and Dolby Digital 5.1 via HDMI eARC.
Can the same decoding capability be exposed / hooked up to airplay receiving component? Would it not be a pure software play?0 -
The NODE can’t be part of a Home Cinema group, which you need to fully experience surround sounds, yes it can accept the signal.
