PVR Remote Now Controlling Bluesound Player
AnsweredIn March I purchased the Bluesound NODE X 10th Anniversary Special Edition Wireless Hi-Res Music Streamer Silver player and everything has worked fine until 3 days ago when out of the Blue (pun intended) my PVR remote started turning the Node X on every time I turned the PVR off or on. I purchased a new PVR about 10 days ago but all was fine until 3 days ago. I tried the remote (same brand PVR) from the old PVR and it also now turns the Node X on.
This is very annoying, can you help please.

Both devices seem to share similar IR codes, please follow the following instructions for changing the IR channel on the RC1 and NODE X.

The PVR is connected to the TV and the TV is connected to the NODE X via HDMI. In which case HDMI CEC commands are putting the NODE X to sleep when you turn off the PVR. In the BluOS App select, the NODE X. Then select Settings, Player, Customise Sources, HDMI and disable Auto-Sense. You will have to manually select HDMI as a Source in the HDMI App (or make a Preset in the NODE X and use that preset on your remote...) going forward.

Hi
Thanks for the responses. It's taken me a while to get back to this.
- The TV or PVR isn't connected to the Node X.
- I have tried all of the Remote presents with no change.
- I had a look at the HDMI settings and Auto Sense was already off.
- The TV remote only turns the Node X on but not off.
So I am still stuck with this problem. The weird thing is everything worked properly until one day it didn't.

Hi David
If clearing all IR codes in the NODE X (by reading this article https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039214453-Can-I-use-my-TV-remote-or-any-IR-remote-to-Control-BluOS-Players) does not help, feel free to select Settings, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so our Support Crew can take a closer look.
