Thanks for that. So it’s basically like using AirPlay from the Apple Music app.

Well now that I have learned the difference between AirPlay and Spotify connect, I now know why AirPlay is garbage for me and always drops when I walk out of the room with my phone. But, stupid Spotify connect won’t let me stream on the node AND my other wireless speakers (unless I use crappy airplay)! This is insane. I had no idea how difficult this would be. Maybe I return the node and just use my HIFI for listening to records and only stream music services to my crappy Sonos speakers. This has all been such a disappointment :(

Can someone working for Blueound please confirmed or respond to this?  While I would not expect the Spotify app to be able to synchronize music players across the network I would expect that if I use Spotify with more than one player it would sync up.  I'd like to know because this will determine if buy a second blue sound device (a speaker). If I can't listen to Spotify on both devices in sync, that's a deal breaker.
