I know that there is a difference in sound quality between Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus.

Does Powernode support Dolby Digital Plus?
If it is not supported, can I downconvert Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital?

And can I know which products Dirac Live is applied to?

  The Pulsesoundbar+ supports Dolby Digital Plus, you will need to send the correct format to other players, normally via settings in your TV.

  Dirac is currently not available on Bluesound hardware but is a feature that will be released at some point.

  Dolby Digital is in ac3 format, and Dolby Digital Plus is in eac3 format. Although Dolby Digital Plus supports 7.1 channels, there is a difference in sound quality depending on the compression technology, so it has nothing to do with 5.1 channels and 7.1 channels.

  Are you saying that only Pulsesoundbar+ supports Dolby Digital Plus and Powernode does not support Dolby Digital Plus?

  The link you sent does not include information on down-converting Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital.
