dont use Optical opposed to RCA
ive got a Bluesound Node X and using Qobuz streaming service,i had a problem i could not play the higher res music only 44khz,ive just realised why i was connected via Optical output and the max is 96khz where if you use RCA you get the full 192khz and i can play all music ,so best not to use the Optical if you want the best quality

Optical out on all Bluesound hardware is upto 24/192.
However some DACs do not support this resolution over optical and optical leads can be of poor quality / easy to break leading to the conclusion that optical only supports lower resolutions. Unfortunately expensive optical leads are not a guarantee they will work.
Support would initially check your DACs optical input specification and then suggest a lead swap to diagnose further, if you need help in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.
