NODE X and wifi connections
AnsweredAlmost every week I have to reboot my wifi in order for the node x to be seen over AirPlay or the blue sound app. I have written support about this issue a few times now and have got the same responses (which I have followed ) back almost every time. I have a Google Fiber nest network . It will come back up after a reboot …after I have made the ip on the node static and play for maybe a week or two. This morning , after it working for a couple of days now, I turn the system on and the bluesound app can see it but airplay cannot. This is frustrating and aggravating to say the least. Not happy with this product. When it works it’s amazing. But, the hoops I am going through to make it work doesn’t make it worth it to me. Thinking Eversolo.

I had a Nest wi-fi mesh system, got rid as it was dire despite the recommendations. Have a Google or search Reddit for devices dropping or airplay ceasing to work until the Nest Router pod is rebooted.
I went with a Plume mesh and Synology router and no longer have to do any fixing of my network.

Can't comment on Nest wi-fi but I've been using a tp-link Deco mesh system for a while without any issues. It's been rock solid for me not just with BluOS but other use cases as well. It's a two device mesh (primary plus one satellite) supporting a family of four with 25+ active devices routinely connected.
This probably doesn't help but it sounds like something specific to your network.
