Adding a custom station as PRESET (not as favourite)?

Hi.
Why can't I add a custom URL as a preset? Or am I doing something wrong?
Cannot find the option, neither in MacOS desktop app, nor in iPhone app.
Background: I'm listening to a specific German web radio. They provide two URLs. One, the public, for non-members in their support community, and another one (on request), for members, in which membership ads are filtered out. First works as a preset (since public?), second doesn't (since custom?).
Feedback welcome,

PS: Why is the latest MacOS app so very slow (opening, using)? Any idea?

Got it. However, the way I tried it was by adding it the way I normally do:
Play a station, bring the player in full view, use the "..." menu to add the current station as a preset. For some reason, this choice is missing in this menu for custom stations. Maybe a bug/miss? See the two screenshots for illustration of the difference.
