How odd, what is on the other end of the analogue lead you plugged into the POWERNODE.?

It's plugged into a portable cd player

And… what socket on the CD player have you used?

Ah! the headphone socket has a much greater level of amplification and can in some cases cause damage, the POWERNODE can take an optical or line level input. It’s was probably overloading the circuit’s.

With cd turned off, just having the plug inserted causes the issue

Unfortunately now the Powernode will not connect to the network at all, whether the cable is plugged into analog 1 or not. I rebooted the Powernode and my router.
