Win11, problem with carrying over ALL of my iTunes playlists
AnsweredTLDR: How do I get all of my itunes playlist to migrate over, please?
I purchased a new system and am in the process of moving over my songs and playlists. I have an android phone, Win11 and iTunes. I used the android BluOS app to setup shares, and initiate the transfer. My music files transferred over fine, and I can find & play them in the BluOS windows & android apps.
The share I setup for iTunes was on the Itunes machine, \\Music\iTunes and in it are both files iTunes Music Library.xml and iTunes Library.itl (If it's useful, I can give you the exact path that's in the shared section, that references my computer name and the username the BluOS created).
I checked within my android and Win11 BluOS apps, and only a few of my playlists transferred over.
Your support mentions looking for playlist info stored in .m3u files, but I cannot find any. https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000464567-Why-aren-t-all-my-Playlists-imported#:~:text=Ensure%20the%20iTunes%20Music%20Library,in%20the%20Help%20Center%20article.&text=Playlists%20imported%20do%20not%20work,relative%20to%20the%20existing%20network.
Apple lists that playlist info is stored in the iTunes Library.itl file https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7020749?sortBy=best
FWIW, Within the iTunes directory, is /iTunes Music/Music and then the directories and files of my music library.
