Does app need to reindex ALL of my networked music if add or delete a single song?
AnsweredI have over 31K digital music files, and I often add or delete a few of them. It took a LONG time for the controller app to index them. Does the app have to go through the entire reindexing if I add or delete only a few files?
Alternatively, I am running Asset uPnP on the Windows PC where my music files are stored, and it immediately reindexes any additions or removals. Is there some way to login to Asset through the iOS app?

If you add new tracks a reindex is very quick, however removing or changing tracks would mean a rebuild index which has to scan your entire library again.
Your PC has the tracks local but the Bluesound player has to access them across your network, if any part of this link is Wi-Fi then it will be much slower than a wired Ethernet connection.

Thanks, that's helpful. But is there some way to access Asset uPnP (uPnP/DLNA) from the Node 2 app, since Asset immediately reindexes deletions as well as additions?

Sorry BluOS does not support Asset, however most Bluesound hardware is Roon ready.
