Filter By Quality no longer available?

Same here on BluOS 4.4.11 and Android 4.4.2: no option to filter by quality.
The option still exists in the Windows controller 4.4.1 as well as Android 4.2.4.
As a temporary workaround you can consider downgrading to Android app 4.2.4 and disabling auto-update in Google Play Store, I have been doing that for more than a month now to get rid of the more than half a dozen issues with BluOS Android apps 4.4.x.

Thanks for the confirmation.
How do I now downgrade to 4.2.4?
There used to be an option to roll back within BluOS itself, as far as I can see that seems to no longer be the case.

It is not BluOS to downgrade, but the Android app. For my most important apps I keep backups of the APKs after installing those from Play Store, but that is not going to work for you now.
An option would be to download the older version 4.2.4 from apkmirror or apkpure, up to you if you feel happy with sideloading. Android does not normally allow a downgrade of an app, so you shall have to uninstall the newer version 4.4.2 first, then install the older 4.2.4.

Thanks very much Gerben, I'll look into side loading but first I'll raise a support ticket to try and get an answer for their reasoning to remove this feature.
I've got 40,000+ files which are a mixture of mp3, CD Flac, Hi Rez and quite a few MQA. I want control of what I listen to - NOT happy about this.

An email from tech support has confirmed that this is an issue as they have been able to replicate it.
Seems a firmware update sometime in the future will be applied to fix it. Good news.

It's code, not firmware. Why would they remove a wonderful and useful feature...?

When will the filter by quality or type be restored? 🥳 Thank you!
