Loses connection when I touch the coax cable

The coax connection from my Bluesound Vault 2i sometimes disconnects when I touch the coax cable. I am using Mediabridge coax cables with a BNC adapter to connect to my Chord M-Scaler. I've tried several instances of the cable and of the adapter. Maybe some kind of grounding issue??? how do I solve it? Please advise.

  Try grounding the DAC to earth and see what happen, probably not a good idea to touch the coaxial cable if it causes issues with the sync / lock.
