Node 2i does not recognize 32 bit 192 kHz WAV files
AnsweredHello-
I have moved from 24 bit 384 kHz FLAC files to 32 bit 192 kHz WAV files in an effort to get as close as possible to 'live' playing my vinyl collection.
All of my 24 bit files play fine on the Node 2i, however, my 32 bit WAV files do not even show up on my library.
I have re-indexed several times to no avail. I even went to Diagnostics and rebuilt the index several time also to no avail.
I need some help in fixing this or the 2i will find a new home.

Hi Steve,
It seems like you may have had a chat with our support crew yesterday. If that wasn't you, could you please get in touch with our support crew by submitting a support request through the BluOS app?
By doing this, the app will automatically send a log file to our support team, allowing them to better understand and address any issues with your Bluesound product.
Thanks for #LivingHiFi -
Steve, Bluesound hardware can only playback and index 24/192 files.

It was me yesterday.
Also, I just tried putting the 32 bit WAV (album) files on a USB stick and none of the songs show up on the BlueSound controller either.
Frustrating as your info says it will play 32 bit sound at an upper 192 kHz sample rate.

That was not my understanding from the marketing. Nutz.
Now I have a Node 2i for sale.

Have you a link that states the playback is higher than 24/192?
The DAC is a 32bit device but this is required to allow volume and tone control in the digital domain without effecting the audio quality.
The 2i has not been sold for a number of years now so not sure how you came across incorrect information today,
