Am I being forced to upgrade my Windows controller app?
AnsweredEvery time that I run the BluOS controller app on my Windows 10 laptop it asks me whether or not I want to install V 4.4.0, and I always decline at present as I want to study its ins and outs before installing.
Now, however, the currently installed version - 4.2.1 - is failing to find any players.
My previous experience is that this tends to occur after a few days of declining the offer of an upgrade and the issue normally only goes away if I uninstall and re-install the app.
So..... is this a deliberate ploy to encourage me to install the new version, i.e. to make it more difficult for me to retain the earlier version by rendering it unusable without a lot of effort?
If so, then I won't sue or anything, but I would like to know whether this is by bug or design.

After posting the above, and while I was working on something else, the Windows controller finally found my Vault. Dunno what happened, but all seems well right now.
