Power node 2 has no power
AnsweredI have had a Powernode 2 for about 6 months now (added it to node 2 and mini pulse) - it has been working perfectly well. Today, however, I noticed that it was no longer visible as a player and further, no power on the unit. I have tried other power leads and followed instructions regarding reseting it, but with no success.
Has anybody else had this problem?

I have the same problem as of today.
The unit seems dead. No leds and its cold.
Tried factory reset but no leds came on.

I am having the same problem. Yesterday it was working fine. Today it doesn't respond to anything.

I have a first generation powernode that is unresponsive. I would be very interested to hear if someone has any tips on how to repair the PSU as its years out of warranty now. Many thanks!

They told me that it was a faulty LED that was the issue. Not sure if that's correct though, would more think that it was fuse.

And how do the hell do you even open these things? Because these products are falling in the millionaire segment, you find no random people opening them up on YouTube. Soldering a few caps, is what one can do blindfolded, so I'm happy to repair mine.

Mathijas, there are resources on google reference disassembly of the powernode 2 for psu upgrade. It looks very simple and the psu quite basic, i will at some point attempt to look into my powernode 1 to see if it can be saved. I have a pulse to send off for investigation but am told it may be unfitnfor repair which is very dissapointing.
