I thought I was being irrational being disappointed about the lack of update or communication. Glad to see I am not the only one. Anyone looking for a m10V2? I'm thinking about selling it. Does anyone know if Dirac is transferable?

Quite disappointing to say the least. This is software development. it should be rapid and reactive.

I hope you're taking note of how frustrated your customers are with this.

I have an idea for you - how about a survey to see what makes your customers satisfied with your products more. I'm sure it will help you prioritize your roadmap better.

It seems Bluesound is not at all interested in what their customers have to say about Qobuz Connect vs Bluesound implementing it.

The whole community here is desperate for any news, yet Bluesound "has a lot in play right now", which gives us exactly no information at all.

Why would I still be a customer? Are customers pulling away? Are investors checking out? Is the brand dying?

This is bad show and bad business.

I am also very disappointed. At first, I was annoyed with Qobuz itself because they couldn't get Qobuz Connect to work. And now they've finally done it, but BluOS isn't ready for it. Honestly, I don't wonder what technical problems there could be because Connect isn't available yet. I seriously wonder what reasons there are for Connect NOT being implemented in BluOS. Maybe it's not even technical reasons, but something else?

I returned the Node Nano installed in my studio and invested in Roon. The Nad M10 v3 in the living room is Roon Ready. So everything will pass through Roon (with Qobuz integration) and I will set up a new endpoint for my studio with a display based on a Pi Rasp 4 and Ropieee. In this way, I won’t need to touch the BluOS controller app except for firmware upgrades, etc.
Unfortunately, because of this Qobuz connect and other issues I had with the Qobuz integration, I won’t invest in Bluesound anymore like I was planning to do for the other rooms of my house.

I wanted to give some more love to my node n130. I really tried.
Then I had to get a streamer for the living room, and decided to try a Wiim pro, since what I need is optic in (tv) and out (amp). Guy in the middle.
20 minutes later, qobuz, Spotify, Plex, Amazon, name it.
Search is fast. Playback is fast (even with qobuz). No non-sense of waiting 2-5 minutes for the search or start of music.
Now? I think I am going to sell the node and just get another wiim and leverage the setup. Their app is just so much better and no hassle.
Music quality? I use an external DAC, so I won't be loosing much anyway.
Unless qobuz connect is here real quick and we see a major improvement in the app, I just can't begin to understand sticking to the node.
    Sorry guys.

    Hello Andrew,
Same opinion like Gregory!! I intend to leave Node - and NAD Products…. They are not irreplaceble, but Qobus is in my opinion. Hurry up!!

    Hello Blusound team,

As a Blusound user and for future customers, can we have a clear ETA for Qobuz Connect support? Many competitors already offer Qobuz Connect? Please, we need more transparency.

    Thank you.

“We have had good conversations with Qobuz on this matter but nothing to share at this time.” Product Managers statement 3 Years ago.
Is there anything to say now about integrating Qobuz connect into BluOs? Probably not. I think BluOs has other plans.

Lenbrook has announced plans to launch a new service built around MQA's Airia tech in a bid to take on the likes of Tidal and Qobuz.
Nad and BluOs are part of the Lenbrook group. This explains a lot.

What does this explain? So this signals that they won't at all implement Qobuz Connect?

Bad business. So they won't listen to their customers?

I'll happily sell the Bluesound stuff and put my money in another streamer infrastructure.

They forget that the customer is always right. Not that they even read this stuff here, but anyway.

If the HDTracks MQA streaming service had been launched in Q4 2024 as planned, all of this would have made sense, indeed.

How can other services already have Qobuz connect, while Bluesound claim to still be waiting. I have just bought a Bluesound streamer and was frustrated to find the Qubuz integration in the BluOS app is frustratingly slow, contrary to what a support person stated 11+ months ago on this site. I have switched to Tidal as a result but do not like their curation and the sound quality seems lacking to my ears.

Is there a firm date for when Bluesound will get this sorted, or should I simply get rid of the otherwise good hardware and buy something from a company that is more responsive to their customers needs?

Michael, the lack of follow up from Bluesound here should speak volumes.

Exactly Peter-jan, I was about to post the exact same comment ! So disappointing !

Hi, I'm very angry, I don't understand why it's not implemented, I'm thinking about changing Wiim.

I’m sick off Bluesound’s excuses, why this is not possible and that is the fault of someone else. So I decided to change. Since I don’t want to fork out 800plus € for an Eversolo, I bought the WiiM Ultra. The app is so much better than Bluesound’s app. Qobuz integration is much better and closer to the native Qobuz app. And above all, Qobuz Connect works perfectly. Time to say goodbye to Bluesound ...

There's no point in clinging to hardware with outdated software.

Buy something that works and enjoy music. BluOS became a parenthesis in history.

No matter what's written here, bluesound is not gonna react to it. Which means that the brand is dead, perhaps still happily unaware of it, but dead nonetheless. Pity. I put a lot of money in it. I'll try to sell the lot and find a replacement.

Well at least I hope they open source the code when they go bust. At least the community can take a stab at providing an implementation.

Thank you all for your great feedback.

Just a reminder of our current status, as mentioned here earlier in this thread by our BluOS Development Brand Manager.

I'll add that we have a large multi year project that is coming to a close soon.  Once that is completed then Qobuz Connect is and was always next on the list.  Connect models themselves take time to ensure quality, reliability and consistent audio.  As we now have now over 90 devices in the platform there will be a significant testing cycle.  Qobuz is a good partner of BluOS and Lenbrook, and we want to support both their new functionality and to offer it to you the folks that buy our products.

In speaking with Andrew this morning, we are expecting to deliver Qobuz Connect on over 90 different BluOS Devices covering 7 different industry brands, all certified by Qobuz, within about 90-120 days.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Voilà !
This is the message we were all waiting for. A timeline and the commitment that this will come.
My Icon sounds better already 😅
    Thanks

Although I appreciate you replying with the timeline, Tony W, this is confirmation for me that it's time to exit the BluOS ecosystem. I just placed an order for a WiiM Ultra. I won't be returning to Lenbrook/NAD/Bluesound in the future.
