Need to roll back to prior version of BluOS for MAC
AnsweredI attempted to install the latest BluOS for MAC (came out June 11th, 2024) and it doesn't work with my version of Mac OS 10.15.6. I have found there are no links available to back up to the prior version, and the online chat support rep flatly refused to help - all he could say was I was out of luck and I need to buy a new device and start using that.
Can anyone help with this? Otherwise I am no longer able to update my library and my BluOS app is essentially bricked.

OS 10.15 (Catalina) is quite old and deprecated. Depending on the hardware you have it might be worthwhile looking at OpenCore Legacy Patcher which makes it possible to install more up-to-date OS's on legacy hardware.
I've updated a 2012 Macbook Pro to 12.7.4 and a 2012 iMac to 13.6.7.
I tried 14.5 on these machines but it was too demanding.

Do you have a Time Machine or other backup?

Hello - Thank you for the reply! This is a great suggestion and I will go that route. I do remain more than a little disappointed that Blusound no longer supports previous generation Mac devices 🙁
