Feature request: Turn off the NAD M33 from within the app

Currently to switch of my NAD M33 I have to use the bulky remote, I have to walk to the unit and touch the power on/of button or have it switched off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Since I only use the app I would like to see a feature in the app to switch off the NAD M33.

  Hi Han

  There is no mechanism in the Software API to physically kill power to the power supply. This cannot be done. As a result you can not turn it off using a software command and must use the power switch or IR command from the remote.

  It's unfortunate that NAD did not include this in the M33 build. I have both the M33 and the C368. The latter can be controlled by the NAD Remote app which includes remote power on and off.

  @Tony W, interesting that some third party apps are able to do this. Perhaps they are using an undocumented API.

  @Han, I purchased the NAD SRM1 remote which is much more compact than the M33's bulky remote. The SRM1 works well with the M33 and has only the buttons we need.
