Put music on USB through network

Can I put music on the USB drive connected to the Node2 with my Windows pc through the network.

I can see the drive and the folders in my network (\\BLUESOUNDNODE2\shared) but I can't drag music to it.

  Not quite like that. Remove the drive from the Node and insert it in your PC to add new files. When done, re-insert the drive in the Node and wait for it to index the content. Easy enough.

  BluOS is not built like that. Only possible if you go with their Vault (which is a Node and a Nas in one) or use a Nas rather than a USB drive.

  Alternately the music could be stored on the PC and the Node pointed to it.

  True, but worth mentioning in such a setup, is that the PC always needs to be on.
